Jiaan's Programs

      Jiaan creates her programs with traditional folktales, riddle tales, fables, literary tales, ghost stories, fairy tales and often snippets from home. She designs the programs for age-appropriateness, audience participation, and follow-up activities.

“On Your Feet and Telling” Beginners learn storytelling tips,techniques, and telling within varied group interactions

“Riddle Me A Tale” Participants explore storytelling activities and create riddle tales.

Workshop

3rd - 5th grades

“Supporting Narrative Writing”
In this process oriented workshop students use storytelling, writing warm-ups, story maps, and editing tips to create rough drafts.
